Readers’ Choice Contest Rules

 

HOW TO ENTER: Complete the San Gabriel Valley’s Readers’ Choice 2026 online ballot at sgvn.readerschoice.la/vote.

To be eligible to participate you must:

• Cast your vote between February 13, 2026 and March 15, 2026
• Complete the online registration form at the end of the ballot on sgvn.readerschoice.la/vote
• Cast a minimum of 5 votes in 5 different categories
• Submit only one online ballot per day per voting period

Individuals sharing a computer can still vote in the 2026 San Gabriel Valley’s Readers’ Choice Contest, provided each uses a distinct user login or email account. This ensures fair play and accurate vote tracking, treating each unique login as a separate voter. Multiple votes from the same login, or creating extra logins solely to submit more votes, will result in disqualification. Online ballots must be submitted between February 13, 2026 and March 15, 2026.

ELIGIBILITY: Voting is open only to legal US residents, who are physically located in and residing therein, and who are 18 years of age or older as of the start date of the contest period. Employees of San Gabriel Valley News Group, its affiliates, retailers, subsidiaries, partners, advertising or promotion agencies, any agents acting for or on behalf of the above entities, their respective parent companies, licensees, or members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents) and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are ineligible to enter this contest. San Gabriel Valley News Group, and all herein mentioned affiliates, shall not be responsible for any damages compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise with respect to or in any way arising from this contest.

Except as noted in these rules, information collected from the contest entries,online or otherwise, is strictly used only for the purpose of verifying contest participants and will not be re-used, sold or shared in any manner by promotion entities or any third parties unless entrant has elected to receive additional information and promotional material.

BUSINESS ELIGIBILITY: Only those businesses that register their business with a free Google Business profile will be eligible for nomination. Businesses can register in a few easy steps:
1. Add or claim your Google Business Profile at google.com/business
2. Update your complete business details, including service area, and add photos.
3. Verify your business, options depend on your business type, public info, region, or business hours. (This step can take up to 5 business days.)
4. Start gathering reviews from happy customers.
